Build The Abs Of A Goddess With The Hanging Leg Raise

Shedding belly fat is one thing, but building abdominal muscle is something else.

While some exercises are great for getting rid of that persistent fat, you have to utilize a completely different set of moves if you want to build some serious abs.

With that in mind, here is an exercise that will allow you the build a six-pack you could only dream of.

Not For The Faint Of Heart

This move is no walk in the park – the hanging leg raise requires a certain amount of strength, so make sure you’re prepared before you hit the pull-up bar and start doing this move. And when you’re done with it, you can bet your abs will be stronger than ever.

Here’s how it’s done:

  1. Grab a pull-up bar and extend your arms and legs into a full hang.
  2. Squeeze your abs and raise your legs toward the bar as much as you can without bending your knees or swinging your body.
  3. Once you reach your maximum, lower your legs slowly to the starting position.
  4. Do 5-10 reps in 2 sets.
