November 25, 2015

If you’ve been working hard on your physique and overall fitness skill, it’s totally understandable that the mere thought of Thanksgiving send shivers down your spine.

Although this beloved holiday represents a wonderful notion of being thankful for everything and everyone you have in your life, it’s also a day when an average American eats around 4,500 calories.

And that’s where this amazing workout routine comes in! If you want to burn those unnecessary calories as easily as you’ve consumed them, we advise you try out this superb “pre big meal” exercise circuit!

Sure, it will make you sweat and it will exhaust you, but it will be worth it!

The Workout Routine

The workouts you need to perform are:

  • The dumbbell goblet squat
  • The dumbbell high pull
  • The dumbbell overhead press
  • The dumbbell bent-over row
  • The mountain climb
  • The dumbbell front squat
  • The dumbbell Romanian deadlift
  • The dumbbell renegade row
  • The dumbbell alternating lung
  • The dumbbell biceps curl
  • The dumbbell swing

The Sets

This workout routine consists of 4 sets. For the first set, perform 10 reps of each exercise: for the second perform 12 reps per exercise; for the third perform 15 reps per exercise; and for the fourth perform 20 repetitions of each exercise.

Tips

This exercise circuit is designed for days like Thanksgiving – when you know you’re going to eat much more than usual (and much more than you actually need), and you won’t have time to do your normal routine. Before beginning this routine, make sure to warm up and do some mobility exercises.
